Continuing His Legacy: Our Commitment to Your Community

In honor of the MartyK legacy and those still in the making, we are compelled to give. We align ourselves with many noble causes such as cancer research, Parkinson's disease research, childhood education, job training for economically challenged adults and many others.

We also honor a living legacy, Jack Benaroya. Jack, a philanthropist, retired real estate developer and prominent civic leader, we thank for his generosity, which is cherished by numerous cultural, educational and medical groups. Along with financial support, his contributions of time and leadership have enriched our community in countless ways. Among his most notable gifts are, Benaroya Hall, the Seattle Symphony facility, and a series of major gifts for Virginia Mason Medical Center Diabetes Research Facility. He is a long-time supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International, the University of Washington Medical Center, Children's Hospital and Medical Center, Lakeside School, and the Jewish Federation and Council. Mr. Benaroya is a former director of the Kent and Seattle Chambers of Commerce, United Way and Alaska Airlines. His service to art groups includes leadership roles with the Seattle Symphony, Pilchuck Glass School and A Contemporary Theatre (ACT). His contributions to the region's economic growth earned his selection to the 1995 Puget Sound Business Hall of Fame. We thank and honor Jack Benaroya and his family for their continued investment in the Northwest, foresighted business acumen and unselfish contributions to the civic fiber of the region.

We endeavor to continue these traditions

by forming deep rooted partnerships for

the future.
